Hi all
Are the front headlights on a 2009 X6 sealed inside the casing? I've got a large dead fly / daddy longlegs inside the glass and am not sure what will be the best way to get it out?
How it got there I really don't know.
Thanks
Carl

Are X6 Headlights Sealed Units
Re: Are X6 Headlights Sealed Units
If the same as the E53 was, then the lens cover is indeed glued to the main lamp body.
All I can think of is to get the HID bulb out, or bypass the angel eye lampholder or find a way past the projector which will then allow you to get a length of thin plastic tubing, or a straw (or if there's room a short length of garden hose perhaps) which you can 'gaffer tape' to the end of a vacuum cleaner stair extension tube and try suck the 'debris' out......
If the gap was big enough to let the varmint in, there must be a big enough gap to get it out again with suction probably your best bet.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
