The place were I'm one about is in bury. If you go through Haywood and just b4 you get to the motorway there is a calorgas place on the right just after crown oil. I haven't been there yet, the buy 10 and get one free is what somebody told me so not to sure if it's true.

Looks good - but when you need to change the battery, how easy is that?

A few bolts then lift tank out the way - obviuosly an empty tank easier.

Probably less difficult than taking out spare and unbolting air pump!

I fitted a new battery prior to lpg install and got them to fit an extended connection up near tank so that I could easily disconnect battery if required.

Bp do an offer of every time you fill up they give you 1p off your next litre. My local BP just stamped the loyalty card upto 9p and don't ever stamp it again so I always get 9p off a litre :) happy days!
Btw iv got a BRC system. Again starts on petrol and LPG starts after a couple of minutes. My full tank costs £38-£44 approx including discount and I get 200 miles of commuting before the lights start flashing, but I reckon I could take it to 240-250 of commuting before it needs topping up.
Lights are flashing today after 220miles. Might just keep driving it and see when yr lpg turns off...

Mines an LPG also, can't fault so far, came with the car when I bought last April and have run it on LPG 80% of the time at anywhere from 64p to 77p a litre. You can hear the injectors working if you stand beside the engine which sounds like a "tappet" noise but other than that its a very good system.

Yeah - I read the google stuff and was dubious but spoke to the guys themselves and asked loads of questions which built my confidence. I took the plunge and as said very very satisfied - One of the reasons for my post is to try and sort out the balance.

And - No tappet noise from mine on tickover, very smooth and quiet  :P

Please stop posting about LPG conversion :)

I keep telling mysel not to bother, but after reading this I am thinking it could be woth it ::)

Mine does about 400  (380 to 425 depending on driving etc.) miles to aprox 85  litres on petrol so its not too bad but LPG would still save a bit and I guess it would make my car easier to sell when the time comes?

Depends on your own circumstance and locality - will you keep car long enough to repay conversion costs? Or recover through sale? Lpg station near you?

From what you are getting at present you should easily achieve 300+ miles from 75 litres of lpg. Do the math and decide if you want to take the step!?

Remember that you want to run on lpg as much as possible to get the benefit - not running out constantly and switching to expensive petrol miles and miles from next lpg fill!

Most Injector rails sound good to begin with when new, as they wear they get noisy....But can't be heard from in the cab but there is a noticeable difference standing beside the car compared to one without LPG.

I had the Prins system fitted about 6 years ago and am well pleased, Jason has also done his magic, I don't think I could afford to run the car if it was not fitted with lpg.

If you have a re mapped car then get an LPG conversion is the map still ok or does it need doing again?

Does a remap make much diffrnce with LPG?

Is there much diffrance in proformance?

Still thinking about getting mine done as I feel I will keep it for 3 to 4 years.

The LPg system runs of the back of the engine ECU so any mapping changes will be transposed to the gas ECU.
