What is the most cost effective option

I see a lot of original ones on eBay, but will they work on mine.

What would I need to know.

2001 -4.4 sport

How does a sat nav disk get all scratched, it just sits in the DVD player? I suggest going to the dealer and see if they can swap it out for you.

Which Mark Drive do you have in your car? Can you take a picture of the DVD/CD drive for us to identify?

you have a prefacelift so yours should be the CD based one.

You have got two threads going on this for some reason.
Try polishing the scratches out with Brasso or any similar metal polish. I have done this before with cd's and it has worked there is also a Perspex polish you can get to polish scratches out of caravan windows that would probably work
