Not sure I like the idea of my kids face planting into the iPad's lovely glass screen in the event of an accident though...

I would sincerely hope that their seat restraints would keep them away from the iPads screens (or any seat back mounted DVD screens for that matter), but yes the same thought had occurred to me. It will be interesting to see the new mount 'in the flesh' - so to speak, to see just how far it does stick back from the back of the front seat.

Rest assued they always wear belts, but belts are designed to stretch to minimise injury and that's why I was a bit concerned about the picture. Mind you my kids also use PSPs in the back and they would become high speed projectiles in an accident. You decide your own risk tolerance...
