@kkodal78...Just as an additional tidbit of info, the new version of the X3 is only slightly smaller than your E53.  The 30d version is surprisingly quick too!  For those that really don't want a car as big as the E70 version of the X5 it's a good option.  Not certain what engines you can get in the US though as the choice of diesels (if you wanted one) is more limited, but then petrol is rather cheaper there at present.

Welcome welcome welcome.
Before long the Xdrivers forum will be the biggest forum on the web :))

I wasn't convinced with the look of the X1, until I saw yours, looks great.

Look forward to seeing the other pics when you get around to posting them.

Welcome aboard.

Something about the X1's I'm not 100% sure on but from the pic you've posted it does look nice.

Look forward to the internal shots too.

that's the only thing, not having all the diesel options in states making it difficult to decide. they don't have the x5 4.0d which i would not mind getting. i do want the X5M but after seeing what diesels are capable of and the options that is available with diesel but not with M is pushing me away from the M. X3 is nice but only if they had 3.0d. i still have time to decide so i'll see what diesel options BMW will come up with in states.
