I accessed the 'secret' menu earlier to change SAT/NAV perspective to 3D.
But the option isn't there!
What am I doing wrong?
I pressed MENU for 10 seconds once in Set. Secret menu appeared, scrolled down as far as I could and...nothing!?

Which version of the OS have you got loaded? You need to find what the number is (on the 'Set' screen) and then have a look at this link on Xoutpost to cross ref it to what's on your car. Perspective View is a Mark 4 only option I think. You need at least OS V26 (says 4-1/60 on screen) or later to see it.
Ideally you want V31 or 32 which supports the OEM dual layer DVD map discs needed for maps after 2009 or 2010 as the database exceeded the 4.7GB limit of a single layer disc.
OS discs can be got from your Dealer, or they might even let you borrow it on the basis that if you brick the unit, it's your problem - that's what mine did.
