Looking to buy a used X5

So managed a day full of driving today - all good

A few issues I need your help on though guys:

1. Right speaker doesn't work, anyone recommend an Audio guy in Birmingham?
2. The housing is missing around the bonnet opening lever. Where could I get this?
3. The SAT/NAV screen has been damaged with a scratch about an inch long. Is this repairable?
4. There is a small chunk of leather missing from rear passenger side door. Is this repairable?

Finally, the ride feels really 'jumpy'. Could possibly be I am being paranoid as I've moved from a 750 to an X5 but I'm sure my previous X5 Sport was a lot firmer. This just seems a tad too bumpy.

When you say jumpy, how do you mean? Is it firmer or less settled than you expected?

It just feels 'bouncy' like most 4x4's I suppose. I remember my last X5 holding the road better and feeling more car than 4x4 if that makes sense.

This felt bouncy even on the motorway. Or as I say, its me being used to a drive of a 750 :blink:

Don't remember my X5 ever feeling 'bouncy' at any time. It felt 'planted' to the road! Are the tyre pressures OK as in not been set too high? They should be around 31psi all round I think (memory getting hazy now).

Tyre pressures definitely the quickest and easiest thing to check. Otherwise a worn shock on the front?

Now this is strange....just looked at the tyres....this set-up look right to you?

FRONT Michelin 255/50/R19
REAR Michelin 285/45/R19

??

Sounds right. The sport has a staggered set up on 19" rims. 17" rims were same size all round.

After tyre press check then is could a front shock. Should be air on the rears - well mine was anyway.

Getting mixed info on correct tyre pressures for 285s. 35 PSI sound about right?

And 32 for 255s?

I'm sure correct tyre pressure info is inside the drivers door or fuel flap. It's deffo in the owners manual.
