I'd say a 535D with a bit of M5 body kit.

Was going to say 525 but has assumed you'd go full fat rather than skimmed ;)

I'd go lower, 525d SE maybe.

Thats never an M5 exhaust, never M5 mirrors, ///M5 badge is in the wrong place on the bootid.

And the reason I say SE is that I dont think on the E60 M5 you could spec chrome trim around the glass, whereas standard on E60 SE's.  And then theres the foglights.  M5's dont have them there.

Nice......though with the 'add-ons' had it been residing in Essex?  Surely people must realise that despite the badges, real BMW Owners (geeks according to Mrs X5Sport) will know it's fake and....well.....laugh at them if I'm being honest?

actually it was from Hounslow.

Definitely the badge needs to come off...

as you say real people know....and its quite embarrassing having the badge on the back.

Had to be SE due to chrome window surrounds. Not sure why they didn't go M5 front bumper instead of Sport bumper though.

I have used both Hi Performance Auto Centres at the Barnes and also Monkwearmouth Motor Company in Sunderland.

Who do you use?

None of the above.
I use a guy who worked for Mill/Coopers for his whole career. He retired a few years ago and went independant. He has access to the same diagnostics as the main dealer. He is located in Grangetown. He has worked on all my BMWs over the years including 530i, E46 M3 and now my 4.8 X5.
If you want his details drop me a PM. Don't want to put his personal details on a public forum.

Michael called from BMW Cooper - Sunderland

They believe it is now the other Catalytic Converter (Left Side) which is causing the issues.

Right Hand Side one was replaced a few weeks ago.

They are going to take the exhaust of the vehicle and then see what it runs like.

Awaiting their next call.

Tim
