I wonder if it has something to do with old session data (in the DB) from when it was broken? Long shot but it's a possibility. I'd prefer not to clear the sessions down again as it may knacker things up again, but it might be worth holding fire from doing anything too drastic and see if it behaves itself later on. It points to it being something like this as it seems to be working for some people and not others.

Agreed.......the phrase tail chase comes to mind.

Just working with FF12 but the login at top right works most of the time (still drops the log in when changing sites).

Using the front page one now has '120' in time and rejects first attempt and changes the number to 31536 and accepting second attempt.  Logging out and back in again works fine - still drops the log in as above though.

EDIT: Just checked it with IOS and the password is accepted but log in lost when browsing elsewhere.  Using the browser 'Back' button in either FF12 or IOS5 retains it, but clicking on the bookmark doesn't... :-[

Right - cleared the bookmarks and re-created and it's now OK.

Very odd.

It's the IOS bit that baffles me most, as people can have all sorts of funky configs, but in general IOS is IOS and mine seems to work perfectly (even reproduced what you just did).

Anyone else got an iphone/ipad that could test the theory?

Bookmark only. Let me test without that.

Ok, with bookmark link I need to log in.

Without bookmark (i.e. direct typing the URL), I do not need to log in.

Same as I had.  Scrapped the old bookmark and recreated it after typing into search engine, re-saved and sorted.  Worked on FF12 and iDevices. :).

Ok so I finally managed to log back in!

Jim, know loads of other issues to sort first but please add Active Posts to your list. As mentioned before, would be good to have the Show Topics For Past as it is, but there is no way to tell what were the last read posts compared to what you see, say 4 hours later. Think it's just a case of that orange New disappearing once you've visited that thread.

Oh and anyway to add 1 week and 2 week options too?

Yeah, no worries, will see what i can do. The New icon issue is a bug in the plugin, i'm trying to get hold of the author and if not i'll try and fix it myself on the development environment :)
