So after a few false starts it is now here, and one of the first customer cars on the road as I am lead to believe.

So far so good, although I've not actually driven it - still playing it cool !

Was it case of you wanted to keeo on driving it and finding a reason to go to another place yesterday when you picked it up until you finally had to stop and fill it up.

I must say I prefer the look of the Boxster, especially the dash... subtle difference but I think it looks nicer than the 911.
