N1k85 if that's a pic of an alpine that looks UGLY on the e53 dash! i would never go there.

i would agree - the hoolio and the dynavin look so much more like oem whch will be a huge factor if i was go take this decision.

I got a 1 year warranty off car-vision but you can possibly extend it.

There are a few variations of the double DIN fascia but I guess they all look pretty much the same and stick out like a sore thumb...

What happeneds to the computer settings off the OE spec on one of these hooligans ( aux vent and mpg, range ect )

You lose the ability to see or change them. That includes the clock. This is on the OEM satnav screen.

The cassette head units only have been remounted to the glove box by some to keep these options available.

you can scroll thru some of the options on the cluster. mpg, range, clock erc.

Am thinking of fitting one of these, but have an auxiliary heater function on the factory unit. Will I lose this if I fit a Hualingan?

I can't find ICEBOX on the web but companies house lists as being in ormskirk

...do you have a web link please?

IIRC from previous threads wern't they the cheapest?

n1k85 what rear view camera did you install that works with your Hualingan head unit?
