Wheels ?

Post by 55NF » Thu May 24, 2012 6:02 pm

Are these the SE wheels? I've got the chance of a straight trade for my 21" black wheels, for these 20's. The bloke has just fitted new 20" rubber all round also! My 21" have about 3mm on the front & 4mm on the back.

I wouldn't call these SE wheels - they certainly don't come as standard on the SE model. They're optional wheels for the X5 - and very nice too! They were fitted to the launch model for the 2011 revamp in the brochures - the brown one - which happened to be an SE.

The 21" BMW 215 wheels I have are too hard ride on RFT, you can probably see I've been complaining about them in other posts.... so sensible option would be a swap for these as he's fitted new tyres also. Plus the 21" tyres are £400 each !!! ..... 20's alot more choice of tyre.

Very nice set of Style 336. I do like that design..... They weren't a cheap upgrade either......not that there is such a thing on a BMW of course :?

What sort of prices were you seeing for 20" non-RFT, and what makes?

Thanks, haven't really done alot of searching for 20" non RFT.. but they're ALOT cheaper than the 21's. I saw some Yoko 20" at £195 non RFT . DEAL DONE!! & swapped! :)

Wheels ?

Looks nice. I believe they are SE wheels as you normally cannot buy spec them on MSport as far as I remember. They come as option only with Dynamic pack for SE for some reason.

They are option only on SE as previously mentioned for the LCI models.
