I really do like the arches and bumpers now they are on.

Superb job Jay as previously mentioned. You are right that the arch extensions are a must imho as give the X5 more purpose.

Really nice and with talk of the extensions being even cheaper now, worth doing if budget dictates!

Typical isn't it, just get everything done on the front end, even fitted vanos seals and a new cam sensor and all is well, when while in Norway this week I get a phone call from the wife.... "The rear window in the X5 won't go up"
I knew straight away it was the regulator, so this morning I removed the door panel and the membrane to find this.... One well chewed up cable.

New one ordered from Euro car parts and I am picking it up this afternoon, got to get it done as we are travelling down south to a christening tomorrow. Hey ho. :)

Cheers Malc. Yeah thankfully its been glorious sunshine all the time the window has been down. Fitted the new regulator this afternoon. Dead easy and all working perfectly again now ready for our road trip tomorrow..
