yes, especially as you will be lugging it about full of water. 11 litres is easy to manage, 19 becomes a bit of a chore.

Very impressed with it all. Remember to buy the attachments though and don't make the "flow" hose too small (like I did as I now have to lug the vessel from one side of the car to the other

Doesn't it come with the hose lock attachments then? I guess it's just for show then on the website pic.

No, it comes with the "female" parts attached to the vessel. You need to have the "male" connectors to connect your hoses to it (in and out).

The "in" side is fine - just remove the nozzle from the hose you are using and click it on that side, the other side is what you need for the "run off" hose.

Not that you can uses hoses of course due to the ban, this is all theoretical speaking of course

I have a 16L vessel and regularly buy replacement resin from DAQUA, great service and a great product.

As regards lugging the vessel about you dont need to. I have the vessel in the corner of my garage and just run my normal hose to the in feed. The out feed of the vessel then runs to another shorter hose reel mounted in the garage. I run this out and round the car and then roll it up when all finished. Great.

I think you are right, I have to change my setup to avoid this hauling the thing around the car.

They can NOT be exposed to freezing conditions as it "kills" the active ingredient of the sand.

My resin generally lasts up to a year washing two cars every week. On occasions it has only lasted 6 months when I have used it with the pressure washer as well as just using it on a free hose to rinse.

Don't understand why you dont see 0 PPM on your test meter, mine goes immediately to that with new resin. Can let it get to 30-40 PPM before any serious water staining returns.

What are you guys using for establishing how hard your water is? There seems to be a plethora of devices ranging in price from cheap to 'you want how much?!' but without really giving any indication of accuracy etc. I'm not looking for a lab standard unit, just something to give a reasonable indication.
