A few new things from BMW

Some of it looks interesting.....especially the introduction of xDrive on the 3 series.......wonder if its coming to the 5? That could hurt the x's sales

4WD (not certain if 'xDrive' or some other version) has been an option in a lot of countries other than the UK for a while. Perhaps BMW have now finally decided that there will be enough sales to produce a RHD version at long last. Given that it will no doubt come with a suitably expensive BMW price tag on the option, and that the 5-series Tourer is close to the price of an E70 anyway (depending upon trim and how many toys are added ( ) it might not hurt it at all. And half the fun of the 3 & 5 series is the RWD anyway, so we'll have to see. About time though..

I have toyed with the idea of changing the X6 to a 535d Tourer, but it's the same price as the X6 so no point in that. The E70 is just too big (in my view) for what I might want.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

BMW have been doing LHD 4wd's for ages but have always said there wasnt the market in the UK...........maybe they have seen the sales of the quattro versions of Audi's cars and decided to have a crack at it.

Always liked the idea of a big engined 3 or 5 tourer
