It's OK, it's only 12V (until you switch them on)......

An umbrella might not be a good idea though.....likely to be a bit of lightning and hail about.. :dizzy:

...and I thought I was the only one who would require a fair weather forecast with no wind for 5 straight days before the screwdrivers came out :D

This can be done ina kitchen/lounge/telephone box save for find ing someone to attach the ballast on the wing and plugging the bulb in the headlight :D

I've got to get some trims/grills for the wife's x5 (did I tell you we have two now  ) and that at worst means bumper off.....

Questions needing answering :D

Is 50 watt noticeably different to 35 watt
Will the headlights melt
Is the parrot dead or just resting.

HID help?

Post by jeegnesh » Tue May 15, 2012 5:02 pm

There fitted on schedule, rain stayed away just long enough. Straight forward job. As to improvement hard to tell till evening, although I am pretty sure they have supplied me 6000k bulbs and not 5000k

Before (MTEC Superwhites)

Here Sanj's OEM Xenons:

OEM is suppose to be 4300 mine are suppose to be 5000 but I am sure there 6000k just as the box says they are, have emailed hids-direct, lets see what they say.

Will try them out this eve and if pictures are visible will take a few. But it visible even in pics that they are better then what I had.

Nothing has exploded thus far or melted but early days.
