Anyone in the aberdeen area recomend a garage/workshop I can put our 3.0d for a service apart from J.C.

Yep, a mate of mine just started up on his own. Ex John Clark BMW tech.
Premier garage services just opposite the holburn bar.
Scott Feaks is his name.
Good price and knows his stuff.
