Ok so I need to get a couple of front tyres as the limit is approaching...
Now I've just been looking at tyres which are the size of the ones on the car... 235/45/17/98w... But I when I typed I the reg no into one of the tyre websites it came up with a slightly different size 235/50/17... And then when I looked at the original BMW x3 brochure it said this same size all round?
I've got the wheels in this link

Any ideas?
Cheers

Tyre Size Question
Re: Tyre Size Question
I don't think any of those is right. They're all undersized. In a 17, with a 235 width, you should be at a 55 aspect ratio. So 235/55R17. I don't know the exact 17" sizes, but my M-Sports factory size was 235/50R18 (equivalent overall diameter in 17 is a 235/55R17).

Re: Tyre Size Question
Alloywheelsdirect.net confirms that the 17" rims should be as above: 235/55R17 all round, and choose your speed rating as necessary.. :
It's a useful site for looking up the OEM wheels and then the different tyres that can be bought to go with them. They only deal in OEM offered equipment..

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
