You are always comparing with what you would get if you filled up with the equivalent amount of petrol, we all know that you do get less mpg on LPG as it doesn't burn so well, but when you factor in the cost compared to regular fuel, that's the saving.
So basically, take the £38, see how much regular fuel you would get, then take the 200 miles covered, and hopefully it should work out approx 28-29mpg. Of course fuel prices vary up and down the country, so the figures will differ slightly depending upon your locality.

Yes, 18mpg is what I reckoned, computer is showing 20.5mpg so its a bit out. Thats a steady 70mph in a 4.6

Have had lpg on my 4.4 for 5 years now and am well pleased with it, cost me about£1500 for the conversion.
Yes, when lpg tank is getting low it sometimes cuts out when given plenty of wellie , so I change it over to petrol for the short burst and then back to lpg.
I used to run a fleet of Transits on lpg and They also did well on lpg, Ford motor co did the conversion.
There are also hidden benefits that people are not always aware of : as the fuel is delivered to the engine as a gas the engine benifits and the oil does not degrade as quickly ( double oil life) spark plugs can also last twice as long.
In the forklift industry when the oil is changed it comes out a lovely golden colour, compared with the dirty oil from a petrol engined forkie.
I still do change my oil at the manf recommendations , but it is a bit of an overkill really.
I for one am an lpg convert.

Mine is a Stargas, bit rare, just cost me £60 for a service which was changing 2 filters and adjusting gas pressure

I have the "Marini" system, but you will find that a lot of the systems are made by the same company, just labelled differently, as with a lot of stuff these days..
As for servicing, not sure, I haven't had it that long, but my local LPG guy likes a bit of cash, so hopefully not a lot.
