BMW Extended Warranty

Has anyone here looked into the extended warranty from BMw, my car is just 2 years old, but has the inclusive servicing til june 2015, so i'd like to extend the warranty cover to match that date.

I had a warranty direct policy on my old E91 325d M Sport Touring which was just over £300 for 15months, but they are a pain to claim from (paid out once in three claims, each time BMW dealer said that their policy would have covered the fault!

So I'll stick with BMW owns policy but was just wondering how much I'd be paying for that...is it based on mileage at 3 yrs etc...? mine will most likely be showing 25000miles by then.

Had a quick look at this but as cars still less than 3yrs old, it can't calculate a quote?

Anyone here got an early model? And has taken out an extended warranty?

There's very few X6 owners on here, and indeed not many out there generally so you might struggle to find an answer with the current group.. I've got another 18 months or so to go on mine and also have a service pack.

Try calling your Dealer, or even BMW GB. They'll be able to give you a guide price as to what it might cost - even if it won't be a hard quote so to speak.

Just wondered that's all, also got the service pack, so just wanted to know what costs I'm likely to run into over next few years. Not a bother, sure it will be three years old before I know it...
