My X5 is sold now, so here for sale are a set of genuine original BMW grilles for the pre-facelift X5 (e53, 2000-2003) which I have painted gloss black.
These were the standard chrome outer/black slat grilles which I have painted my self with black paint and then lacquered to get a proper 'gloss' shine to them.
Please note, the general finish is very good; smooth and shiny to the point of seeing your reflection (i.e. proper glossblack) - small imperfections & wear will be noticed on very close inspection but on the car they look very good.

Heres a pic from just before I removed them to sell the car (I used these frames my standard titanium slats for a contrast). You can see they reflect quite well
