Covered by Portsmouth water who state the ground water levels are ok, for the minute. Was the same case last time round, happy to lend out hosepipe for car washing in return for a blast in the 'rocket'
Of course there's no water issues down there - you've got that thing known as 'The English Channel' at the bottom of the garden! (Not that I'd recommend it for washing the car with it though)

Not joking there. The water is as hard as nails and it almost takes as long to get rid of the water marks as it does to wash the car :headbang:

I thought he was on about boats or summat again, but apparently it might be one of these.....?

Valeter's water thingy

No Doctors required.. ;). Just a very healthy bank account :o
So that's a water tank (got 3), submersible pump (check), hose (check), pressure washer (check) and now this thing in the line too! You can spend a lot of money cleaning a car. The price of the pro-pressure washers was... (no I didn't get one!)

I have the 11litre version with resin, just over £100 delivered.

Just rinse the car after a wash with that and no need to dry it (will dry without stains).

Interesting, take it you need a hose pipe to use it :poke: have you ordered that smoke grenage launcher for when a helicopter flies over your place :fuelfire:

And how often does it need changing (the resin)?

@Chompers - I've got no chance round here! The Copper Chopper is over the local Council Estate at least twice a week... :police:

On heavy use, seems to be about 12 months to get our of the resin. Then a refill is about £25 a shot.

All depending on how hard the water is though, I have a TDS meter which shows that I am medium hardness (175) and that should be the expected life of the resin. Double the hardness, half the life time expectency.

Uh - a vessel is a bucket, right? So I am filling a bucket I suppose?

Oh great, so now I need to know how hard the blasted water is too........well it stains horribly, so we'll put that down as 'Well Hard' then. Another item for the shopping list, along with a trailer to put it in. Mrs X5Sport will be 'having words' methinks... :?

I haven't told her about the new buckets yet...... :(
