Re: undercarridge protection bull bar
Hi All!
Well it's been a traumatic last few months, with endless electrical problems. Sat nab not turning off, not working, injected warnings after replacement of the injectors, multiple battery draining which they eventually said was a A/C module not powering down, loss of Tv function, and over dashboard switches, so after a stand off for a month with me refusing the car, I've swapped it for a 535d, which I'll be picking up this weekend. I loved the X5, for the short amount of time i had her, and made me and the wife feel special when we drove it, and being up high, and will really miss her, but 19k, i expected something more reliable than it was. Maybe it was just a wrong'un? who knows?
Anyway, the bull bar was on when I purchased it. I honestly think it made it one of the best looking X5's with the Aero kit
It looked like the bull bar went about 4feet under the vehicle, with multiple bolts holding it on. It looked quite substantial under the car.
Anyway, thanks for the help with my questions over the months, and one day I'll definitely have the newer one and will be back, but for now, I suppose I need to find a 5 series forum!!
All the best
Paul

Bugger - I got my response!
Shame Mrgee, looked like a very nice car. Stay in touch and post up some pics of the 535d regardless.
And see you soon in the E70!

Re: undercarridge protection bull bar
Shadrack, When I pick the car up and if it's still at the dealers, I'll measure the diameter of the bar if you want?
Re: undercarridge protection bull bar
Sanj, got what? the bull bar or the 535?
I know it was a looker, which has made the part more harder, but had to let the head rule and not the heart!!

Sorry to hear the run of bad luck. As Sanj has said though you will not look back. The power delivery of the 535d is superb and the cabin is a joy to be sat in.
Not interested in selling the bar (pm me...lol)
