As some of you know i will be selling the x so i'm getting all the niggly jobs that i have been meaning to sort out for a while now ready to sell the beast.
The roof rails are really easy to take off there are three size 40 torx screws either side hidden behind rubber bungs and that's pretty much it.

put something down so's not to catch the roof paintwork (as this is a little harder to respray

rails removed leaving the holding plates...

rails all sprayed up.....i couldn't find a perfect colour match as the rails had naturally faded aswell so i ended up spraying both to keep them the same

This was a really simple job to do if your rails are scratched/worn or looking tatty
