Bmw scanner 1.4.0

Firstly hello everybody I am new but have followed the forum for a long time.

I am a mechanic (please forgive me!) with two X5's at the moment, 05 3.0d sport and 06 Le Mans edition.

Anyway I wondered if any forum members could give me some info on the scanner 1.4.0 and its capability.

I have at the moment got a few bits of diagnostic kit including Bosch Kts670(excellent) and the Snap Off Solus pro but nothing that covers the rear suspension on the x5's.
Has the scanner 1.4.0 got any coverage of this, or is there any other affordable scanner that will cover the rear suspension?

it does have rear suspension diagnosis, although i'm not sure if its what you're lookin for

That's good my man - get your location updated and you may just get recommended buddy! Stick something into a signature too.

More info on what you can and have done will certainly bode well for you. Most owners on here are open-minded and always looking for a good mechanic contact. Especially one that owns two E53s!
