BMW x5 ecu unlocking or dead ecu's

Great glad to of helped with the problem had with your Ecu

As you know we fitted your dme ecu, throttle body, dme Ecu ews and key to our car the set this up to your new tb and tested for over 150 miles

that's why I suggested to do this 1st rather than just selling you another Ecu for your car and waisting money on some think it did not need to start with

You may find that the new throttle housing you brought may of not been needed

As for the stalling we can adjust the idle but it might be better to update the dme Ecu 1st then remap your car and this should stop the stalling problem and help the pick up from stand still where it's stalling

Hi jason took the X5 to my indy and tried to raise the rpm using his autologic but the DME was showing the rpm's were all over the place. the dme was showing the rpm was anything from 700-2400 rpm but the acutal rpm only stayed at 576 rpm. He tried upping the rev's by 10 rpm each time but nothing happend, was thinking of popping over sometime this week if you can have a look?

Was running lovely till I let the mrs drive it, she had it about 3 days after I saw you and the bloody
thing stalled on her. It's stalled on me a few times, weird one I had been driving it fine one morning parked up at my house came back hour later it took about 5 minutes trying to start up thought I was going to flattern the battery.
Seems to stall once the engine is warm never does it from cold. Thinking could it be fuel delivery problem, electrical short keeping getting terminal 15 coming up an my scanner?
Getting the hump know any good arsonist's ;)

Got no codes showing cam sensor faulty but I did have a new sensor which I bought a while ago so I changed it anyway yesterday.
Gonna give it a couple of days and see if it makes any difference.

big chance that the new sensor you had might have been DOA.

Jason just a little update on the stalling, I have now pulled the fuses for the LPG system so no gas getting to the engine and have driven around 65 miles on petrol so far no stalling.
Car still idles around 500 rpm but so far it's not wanting to stall, If I put the gear selector from D into P the revs rasie to around 700 rpm could this be a vaccum leak somewhere?
Have it now booked in to look at the LPG system and service it as well. Hopefully it will sort it out and the mrs can drive her car again.

If it's only stalling on LPG it may be running weak on LPG
Or
They have set up the injectors to the wrong banks
Ie bank 1 is running on bank 2 and bank 2 is on bank 1
