Is this anyones on here? http://youtu.be/EEk9aSaG5dE great looking X5, not sure about the spolier.
Fantastic stuff by Paul of Miracle Detail, I have to say I'm tempted to hand over the keys for a few days but I do have other stuff to spend my money at the moment.

No idea, but he has a couple of other videos on line showing him cleaning the engine bay with a Polarjet dry ice cleaning system. Miracle Detail are on line if you go look.

And he charges from £750. That's a big ask for me too at this time.

Incredible finish - but then, you get what you pay for!

Just out of interest - from the DIY detailer point of view - what does everyone use to clean/wash/polish/wax/detail their X?

Usually Auto-Glym car detergent, snow application then the 'two-bucket' approach to control any grit transfer, then a coat of their HD Wax. I've had a paint sealer applied so cannot use anything abrasive such as a polish (at least for a while). I use microfibre cloths to clean the car - usually the Meguiars ones.

Underbody is going to get treated with this new Karcher Chassis cleaner gizmo that I've just bought to get the salt off and apply a protective underbody coat. How effective it will be is yet to be seen, especially as a lot of the X6 is completely protected by shields underneath.

Again, Auto-Glym for the leather etc. Dash panels just get dusted off as some of the cleaners can make everything shiny. That I do not want! It's a BMW not a Ford!

I'm not into 'detailing' but I do like to keep my cars clean as they're parked outside. The X6 won't fit in the garage and anyway SWMBO has put her 3er in there.

I'm a Meguiars fan, usually jet wash car, snow foam (any cheap stuff Ive got laying a round) and then Meguiars Gold class shampoo with the lambs wool mitt, love the smell of the shampoo. Once or twice a year I will clay bar the car and then apply Meguiars Ultimate wax. Seems to do the trick for awhile, especially where I am as the road is tree lined....I think the birds round here like a berry curry every Friday!

Just seen video of miracle detail it's stunningand I met a friend of pauls called marc who did about 47 or 48 coats of wax on a new Astra Vxr he had which was something else to see video is on detailing world iirc and some by Paul I belive and having seen that up close I can belive that this X5 is probably better in real life than on the video.

Great looking car that......Yes even with all the cosmetic mod's.

Mine...Correction/polishing......Megs 105/83/95 via Megs G220. Collinite 915 as LSP. Hand washed using water only, (unless deep soil then PW first & Megs NXT shampoo), I use basic Kent MF Mitt & dry with Serious Performance MF &/or Megs Waffle Towels.

Stunning looking example. Love the Alpina Dynamics and those Brembos really make me sad as mine have just been removed....

It's had a full respray and then had the full treatment on top of that....love it. A lot of money spent but worth it.
