Anyone interested in a group buy for Dynavin or Hualingan

Post by Kerryx5 » Mon Feb 27, 2012 10:57 pm

Yeah had the oe nav before.

Seems to shut down when I remove the key but the orange lights stat lit.

I removed all the oe stuff because of a battery drain problem and now it seems I haven't cured it! :(

Bugger!

Well quite unexpectedly my Huli arrived today. :D had it fitted in 15 mins and I am impressed, even managed to watch Jeremy Kyle while waiting for the kids to come out of school, how chav is that ? :o of course there has to be a sour note and that is the nav card wasn't in the box so I can't let you know of its any good. I will update my fitting thread when it arrives.

Great News!

I bet you're glad to fill that big hole you've had in your dash for weeks! :)

It does look a lot better, cant believe the Nav card wasnt supplied, apperently they are still waiting for them to come in.

Kerry, Did you sort your out your light ? I have to say mine stays on for at least 5/10 mins before going off. It must power down when the main computer goes to sleep. Does your gear selector light go out ?

If you have a spare Micro SD, I have the Igo8 software that came standard on my Micro SD I could hook you up?

I backed up the whole SD card to my computer on the day I got the Hualingan just incase!

No problem,

The size of the whole folder is 1GB, my nav card is only 2GB.

I have no idea how to install the software as John did it for me, but i guess there will be a guide on Youtube or somewhere?

I think I've cured the problem. I think it's the ignition switch. The lights don't go out even when the car goes into standby after 16 minutes.

I have to say I love the head unit!

Just got to install the reverse camera now.

I had trouble working it out at first too.

Once you get the hang of the slider its pretty easy.

Also to browse by Artist/Playlist/Track/Album etc you scroll all the way to the top and select the very top button (which is blank I believe) and that takes you to the 'main' menu:

Once you're in a album or playlist etc, you can change track using the steering wheel controls. Same goes for watching movies from SD card, you can flick between the videos via steering wheel.

(Ignore the spelling mistake - Componsers... )
