Came onto this site at the tail end of last year looking for some advice on wheels, here's my X6 after having some paintwork done on it and the new wheels fitted.

Nice, I do have a soft spot for the X6's

Me too. It's the frayed hole in the bottom of my wallet......... :D

I don't regret it for one moment though. That 40d engine is an intoxicating drive when in Sport Mode and making full use of the engine. More than a few so called 'sports saloons' would be (and have been) embarrassed by just how quick the X6 is, and even more so around the twisties..... :driving:

Lovely cars - how often does the X6 have to be washed. No don't tell me - you get someone else to do it right?

and u know what - with the current fuel prices it will depreciate even faster so affordable sooner!

For some bizzare reason the X5 seems to attract the dirt a bit more than the X6, just picked up the X5 a couple of months ago, the wife had a 5 series GT, when we got our first dump of snow it was like Bambi on roller skates!! the GT was a fantastic car but a bit cramped for the 2 Labradors, have to say that I'm pretty happy with both of them.

Ahh, the fun of BMW rear wheel drive, wide tyres and a slippery surface eh. Our 330 Convertible is the same, which is why it's not allowed out to play in this weather unless there is lots and lots of space to skate in - then it's just DSC off and.... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
