Need to have a think but possibly with IR headsets wired to DVD direct to send signal audio. That way you would always get sound from DVD output to headsets regardless of what you have up front BUT then you have issues with control. Set a DVD up front and you can't listen to anything else.

Best to leave DVD and rear screens connect separate to front unit if you want your own video/audio up front and IR headsets to the rears.

I'll have a think though in case my logic is completely wrong...

I have video inputs and 1 audio input on the head rest. so i am going to connect the head unit to them any way. that way i can have the same video on all 3 using the car speakers.

I will leave the dvd changer on the rears so they can use that and have there own audio source.

:)

Easy!

I have to get my tank taken out before i go first though

Kerry has he got stock in now? john said they were still waiting for delivery due to chinese new year being longer than usuall.

if you wait for others to commit than you might as well forget about it. you just have to bite the bullet and get it done. i had mine installed by john back in july for hauligan, headrest monitors and the back up camera. he came out to my house to install it. if i were to wait for a group buy which might have saved me £50 or so than i probably would still be waiting on people commit to buy as a group. if you ask me i would go ahead buy it if you really want it. i love my set up and it even got better after the sub install

I'm going for the deal from John. Going to be ordering tomorrow. I already have the headrest monitors. So this will be a great upgrade.

John is very willing to do deals rather than waiting for a group buy.

I have found his ore purchase information and response very good and quick to reply.
You won't be disappointed Kerry, especially since you have the Headrest monitors already!

Did you see my Gen4 demo video on the Car-Vision website?
I think (how do you spot a GEN4) I'm looking at it now, did you pass on your INSTALL make it fit proper tip?

found it...I think

Yeah that's the video.

I did get mine fitted at Car-Vision, but John did not use the brackets to fit (many people say they are not nessesary, especially as they are a PITA to fit!) but I was not 100% happy with the way the unit was sitting. It was 'ok' but not perfect. So the following day, I removed it again and fitted it using the supplied metal brackets and it then sat much better and looked way neater.

This is mine below:

I would be interested but trying to hold out for the DAB and possible other features as mentioned by Sanj.
The Hualingan will have DAB shortly and other features (currently being tested). Not sure which ones yet...
Hi Kerry, can you keep us updated to start a thread on how you get on as your car setup sounds like mine and therefore watching with interest.

No problems stu!

Spoke to car-vision today and they are still awaiting delivery of the units. Apparently due in tomorrow.

Will keep you informed!

Fantastic work at getting this price, sounds a good deal to me.

Closing date for the group buy is Monday 20th of Feb so if interested please put your name down sooner than later.

Good work Mark
