I'm getting to know this new car of mine,... problem is I can't let sleeping dogs lie !
Most of the things that are supposed to work, do !,.. but I'm a pernikety sort of bloke who has to have every single thing working as it should.
You see when I bought this X5 last week I was blown away with it,.. still am,.. sorted a few loose wires behind the touchscreen sat/nav, radio, dvd, head unit. It looked like the previous owner done a slightly botched job of replacing the old Cd/radio with this unit. I now would like to trace the colour of the wire that feeds the backing lights on the unit, the ones that powers up the dash backing lights when the sidelights are switched on.
I've traced the speaker wires and other cables but I haven't found the back lights wire yet.
Long post I know,...
Any help please ?
