Wallet taken too but dumped, still with cards in it as tea leaves only want cash. Glad you and the family are OK though.
I know it's debatable, and been debated at length here too, but fit a tracker if none already in use. Mind you, your insurers may insist on one now.
Gone are the days when folks could let their kids play in the streets, front doors stayed open and everyone knew and helped everyone.
The village my outlaws live in Wales is still very like that though, and it's a breath of fresh air going over there. Here it's all sirens and Police Helicopters and the all too frequent sound of burglar alarms (most tripped accidentally though) and nicked cars being thrashed in the local industrial estate at night - now dealt with after CCTV was installed throughout the area.. A neighbour had his Scooby nicked the same way, but it was found in less than three hours in a lockup 15 miles away. Centre console slightly damaged where they'd been looking (unsuccessfully) for the tracking unit, but otherwise unharmed.
