Gchristofi, i dont have a folder of that name.

here is what i can see step by step.

when i open disc

where it says the driver should be


as seen in the second picture, (step 2) i need to change "INPA" to "UPDATE", but i cant select either. this is the same for step 3 aswell.


in the third picture i should have the option of "ports" between network adapters and processors which would then allow me onto the next step.


anymore help would be much appreciated

Inpa and BMW scanner are 2 different program's. Inpa is a pain in the arse to install

BMW scanner software won't work on the inpa lead. The screenshots you've posted are for inpa. I have both and I haven't used inpa for ages. BMW scanner is so much better and easier to use.

thats screenshots from the disc i got from the ebay listing, i will contact the seller and see what they say,

so i couldnt even just get a copy of the bmw scanner software from someone? i need to get a whole new package?

yep johnny, mines looks nothing like that! before i ordered htis one i was looking for the link you'd posted for yours. wish id looked harder now!

Does the equipment you got look like that? The picture in the link is the right stuff just wrong software. I only ask coz itll save you sending it back. I'm sure you'll get the right software off someone on here.

So garioch, what did you buy from obd.master... can't see anything in their listings mentioning INPA?

yep mate, looks exactly like on the listing. thats what asked earlier, could i either buy a disc with the correct software or get someone to make me a copy?

ive emailed the seller to ask him as Gchristofi ordered from same seller and his works fine. hopefully the seller will resolve the issue.

So you have a USB cable that plugs into a box that says BMW scanner on it which in turn plugs into the obd socket on the car? If so then yeah just wrong software. If I knew where my disc was id upload it to the web for you to download and you'd be sorted. Maybe someone else on here can do that for you?

i think all these guys just make the unit and package in the sw from this site.

further, lookin at ur sellers ebay add it looks identical to mine. i have a strong feeling its the same thing and the same sw should work.

i noticed thought that the s/w downloaded from this site had a later date and a slightly different size compared to the sw that came with my unit. simple explanation could be that the cd could be slightly old and the sw in the site is a later version.

no guarantees obviously..
