You feel that extra bit safer in a BMW

Ok so not an X, an e46 I believe, still the build quality shows, wouldn't like to imagine the outcome if it were some lighter / flimsy manufactured car ;)

Glad my familys in a decent built / engineered car. What price do you put on safety :oldman:

When I think back to a few years ago when I batted up and down the M23 from Craley to Whyteleafe every day in a 1997 Nissan Micra 'Shape', the though of being rammed by a truck in that is indeed very scary. I definitely feel safer in the X6... :)

Being a convertible, I don't think our E46 would have stood up quite as well in these circumstances though.

And yes, if I had a young Family then safety would come very high on my 'got to be' list. One day maybe..... :|

Cheers Sanj. We're over the worst and planning ahead - even have an 'egg timer' now :D There are gizmos for all sorts of things now.

Just awaiting news to see if I need neck surgery to repair a cervical disc - no jokes about needing a new bolt :P Perhaps I need a new moniker.......'Lurch' :D

Been off work since Xmas and am climbing the walls! Not allowed to drive or anything. Daytime TV is awful!! Thank goodness for iPads. No wonder Mums go back to work.
