Warranty - Warranty Management Services (WMS)

Post by Goonerdad » Tue Jan 17, 2012 10:58 am

Hi,
Read a few threads on here about Warranties and whether they are of any use or not.

My car came with a warranty from WMS which also covered ICE including sat nav and £70ph labour costs.

The alternator needed changing at a cost of £454.80 (!) and I have to say that this has been handled speedily and professionally by WMS. Even the garage commented how surprised they were at the lack of hassle! Authorised the repair in one phone call from the garage and car is now all fixed.

A good news story for once...................

Thanks for the tip. Might be worth looking at now we've dropped WD as our cover supplier. Useful info..

Always good to hear as I was not impressed with WD either.

Do you know what your annual premium is?

when i bought (used, from a dealer - long story here but to cut it short) i even refused the std RAC warranty they offered. and asked them to reduce the price and took the risk onto myself!! so far no issues, touch wood!
