Indicator on with side lights?

Yet another electrical problem!

When I put my side lights on the drivers side front light is fine but on the passenger side no side light but my indicator comes on (stays on - not flashing)

Anyone known this?

not this specifically but did have hazard lights on for no reason last week. Everytime put indicator on the hazard lights came on. Been fine since. Suspect water crept in.

That's a safety feature I believe. If the bulb fails the indicator bulb will act as the side light. Change the blown bulb and it will be back to normal. Surprised you didn't get a bulb out message though.

Ah cool - I should really read the manual some time.

Its the wifes car she doesnt pay any attention to the dash
