Newbie up North

Hi Folks, just joined this forum today as I collected my 2005 X5is yesterday. This is my second X5 as I had the 4.6 a few years ago but changed it for an E60 M5. To cut a long story short my wifes recently had our baby daughter and tbh the winters we get up in aberdeen are not the type you want to be driving an M5 in!!! So that left me with two options,
1). A Range Rover Sport
2). An X5
Had to be the X5 as I just cant see better than BMW. I also have a Ducati 1098 Tricolore which is shortly to be tucked away for the winter, Im based up in Aberdeen so any local lads say hi and I look forward to hopefully contributing to the forum aswell as having all my questions answered by all the experts out there!! Hi Richard and welcome along :D get some pics up of the x when you get chance or the m5....sounds like you prefer the larger engine from your list there :lol:

We see a lot of 5 series to X5 and back again hopping of owners here.

Gonna get some pics up for us? How do you rate the 4.6 against the 4.8?

I havnt really noticed much difference to be honest, its early days yet though so im sure I will in time. Anybody know how I put pics up???
