Windscreen washer jets

Post by ChrisLux » Fri Dec 30, 2011 12:24 pm

My '05 3.0d was in for oil inspection just before Christmas , and whilst it was there I
asked the Indy to check out my washer jets because at anything above 50 kmh they
were shooting too low and not cleaning the screen properly , but when I went to collect
it , they told me they can't be adjusted or cleaned , if they fail you have to replace them !!
Anyone else had experience of this , coz I don't know why they've suddenly started to shoot
lower .

Could be blocked slightly or not enough pressure from the pump.

Check the filters in the reservoir, bet they are partially blocked.
