Genuine Titanium Grille Set

Post by Raj » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:34 am

Found these bagged up.

I'm never going to fit these back on the 4.8.

Complete set for the bonnet. They are in not bad condition, just a few stonechips, etc.

These retail at well over £200 from the dealers.

I'm tempted by these. How bad are the stone chips? My black ones are in great condition but are not very black so need treating. These might be a better option.

I managed to break one of the bottom grills that clips into the top bonnet vent and holds it in place - probably as it's so cold at the moment (I warmed everything up a bit in warm water after that) so am just getting hold of another from the dealer (one came in today but arrived broken so another should be in tomorrow). Once I've given it a wash I might take a photo. It's just a standard 3.0d Sport with the grills and also the 4.8is winter wheels fitted though so nothing special.

I think that looks really good tbh. I think the titanium works better against silver as I thought it was a bit much against the Le Mans Blue I have. Liking the winter rimmage too.
