Remap done on 4.4 By Jason
Post by lezmtaylor » Fri Aug 20, 2010 5:03 pm
It is now 4 months and I think I have done enough miles (2000) to be able to give a fair assessment of how I feel the 2002 4.4 has performed.
Fuel consumption had improved by 3 mpg on both lpg and petrol.
The acceleration between 50 to 90 mph is what I would describe as meteoric ,the surge is fantastic and makes any overtaking a real pleasure.
It was pretty impressive before, but now 'wow'.
So anyone with a 4.4 who has any doubts, I would say go for it, you will have an even bigger smile on your face.

It does sound like us blowing smoke up Jas's arse but he did my 4.6 at the same time as Les's. I tried to get my gaffer to get his 535 done but he went somewhere else and has been back 4 times cos it's shite.
Give him a ring or come along to the meet and talk to god direct instead of listening to his disciples
