locating vehicle chassis number

where is the quickest easiest place to locate my chassis number please?

I'm guessing somewhere under bonnet then cross reference against registration documents just to double check ?

Should be at the bottom of the windscreen.

+1 for the little window at the bottom of the screen on the passenger side.

Also its on the inner drivers side wing below the bonnet along with the paint colour
