Having had the sls control unit replaced earlier in the year with a rear wheel speed sensor, that cured the sls inactive message appearing on the cluster, great, job done.
I havent driven the X much at all of late, twice in the last month and a half. The last time being 3/4 weeks ago.
I planned to take it out today for a run, all is well untill i get 2 miles up the road then, the message appears on the cluster SLS inactive, the green sls swicth not illuminated at all. I did notice on the journey the ride felt rather hard like, or maybe it was me.
I did have a lower front suspension arm replaced on the car 4 weeks back to pass its mot. Could this be one of the reasons the sls is playing up?
I have looked at the fuses and they seem in good nic. I have tried stoping the vehicle, shutting everything down. Re-starting hoping the fault clears it self, no joy.
All corners seem to be at the correct height, no leaning i can see.
Is it possible the fault is being thrown up due to the car not bening used regually? Colud it be to do with the battery beginning to fail?
Would appreciate your views,
Thanks.

Re: Another sls inactive thread.
it could be battery but i would doubt it, you need to get the codes read and it will tell you!

Re: Another sls inactive thread.
When i get the chance, i will have the car put to diagnostics see what it throws up. In which case the car will remain parked up
Thanks.
