My thanks to all for the good wishes, it makes this all the harder to write................
We've gone from the highest high to a deep black pit in the last 10 days. Multiple scans and blood tests to find out what is going on. The girls will understand the phrase 'Ectopic' instantly, and for the boys the simplest thing is to call it is a life threatening condition. We haven't got to the bottom of it yet, even though we now know all the options and all the information on them and the choice we have to make. In simple terms the foetus isn't where it should be, and can't be found so we've lost the baby. The hormone levels still show she's pregnant which is why we need to monitor things very carefully. A real shock, and for those who have been through this themselves, not a little frightening either. Our local Hospital have been absolutely superb in doing everything and telling us what we need to know, and what needs to be done and when. Loads more tests on Friday which should hopefully tell us the what and when etc.
On the lighter side, we get to try again (

), and I can go on telling SWMBO that despite what she might try and say, it wasn't my fault coz I hit the target, it's her bit that got lost!! Warped humour I know, but it helps us get through this.
