hi i bought a cd with this on off eaby for £6, installed it toook bout 30 secs but it doesnt work, i thought i could use my lead thad goes obd2-serial-usb that i use with inpa? can anyone explain what i need to do thanks

Pretty sure you inpa lead won't work with the BMW scanner 1.4 software

oh. so what lead do i need

Don't know what it's called to search on eBay but it looks like a little box with the obd socket on it and then you connect an A to B usb lead between that and your pc. I got mine with the software.

oh, that would be something like the link i posted or something similar to it thats sort of a small black box

That's the fella.... I've not used inpa since I got BMW scanner. I've also got navcoder

Hi Shadrack you can download software off the net, Google" BMW Scanner140 Advanced Set Up" then go from there,

How much is it direct from there website? Think I paid about £35 but it came from china

Would have been cheaper to buy the lot as a package than buying in Seperates....iirc mine was about £60
