I read on the nordschleife website that they had stopped people from filming and for the very reason of what you saw....Mate or not I certainly wouldnt want my accident slapped all over youtube. Just hope the guys alright apart from a seriously lightened wallet.

Hmm, yes. Especially if the insurance claim is in any way dubious regarding coverage.

I used to drive a lot, lot faster when I started out with my VW Golfs as the cars were so predictable and never had any issues what so ever. Once I moved to rear wheel drive in the BMWs, it is not that predictable any more and a back break out is very sudden and unexpected. Never forget when I did a 360 spin on the slip road to Gatwick in my 740. Too much power on a cold road early in the morning coming away from the roundabout just spun the car around. No damage fortunately but a bit of a wake up call during normal arm chair driving.

I'm not sure mine does this too

Does YouTube only work with strong signal or wi-fi?

I think you can only view youtube on your iphone with a good wi-fi connection, or a strong 3G connection. You won't get it with Edge (E next to your O2 at the top when you can't get 3G).

Actually, just rethought this. If you were trying to view youtube vids via your web browser on the Iphone it won't work what ever your connection is, the Iphone doesn't support Flash, therefore can't show movies through Safari. You have to use the dedicated YouTube app.

Argh the existing welsh country clique sticking together I see between you and Pewters with some of your posts !

There seems to be a divide creating as people get more defensive and read too much in to everything

Didn't happen before on x5drivers and certaintly not any other forum I'm a member of were I post a lot more than here.

BTW before anybody picks out the welsh bit, I'm sure x555 and Pewters will actually remember that half of my family are from their neck of the woods and I still have strong contacts there, if for apparently the wrong rugby team

The problem is apparently you are not allowed an opinion on here for some reason anymore. That is supposed to be what forums are about

You can't say that there could be cars out there better than an X5 or that a normal estate car could do the same job

You are not allowed to comment on somebody that has had all 40 pages dedicted to his new facelifted X5 without being told you are for some reason jealous despite having one of the first E70 twin turbo M sports in the country.

You cannot comment on a thread of jokes that were not at all funny without some other abuse coming back

Very disappointing and not the forum that PVR or AW8 intended when they made the effort to get it back

WTF are you smokin man...cause i want some....chill out there boy you seem to have taken things a little to seriously now ....i'm sorry if i have upset you fella but it wasn't my intention :) opinions are great we have always said that on here haven't we??? it's the way those opinions are put across that count ;)
I too have commented on minda's thread about not having his car yet (in fact i was the first person in the country to do so on the old forum)and it was done in jest  he even changed the title to when it arrives if you actually remember for a bit of banter.
As for the AW8 and pvr speech i'm sure there sat back reading this and laughing there asses off at all this bullshit.
