Intravee II wanted

Post by X5eireann » Tue Nov 29, 2011 12:03 am

Hello all,

When I purchased my X5 - I said that I'll only spend money on maintaining its natural beauty....... but after a recent trip to Sanj's I'm already going against my decision! ;)

I just got a KCA and it would be such a shame to have it running without an Intravee II .......... (that's my excuse to the wife - so just agree with me here lads!)

So....... I know these little gadgets are as rare as hens teeth, however if you have one lying up in the garage that needs a good home, let me know.

They sell them at toys in your car, secondhand they are about the same price as new. I have seen them sell for more on eBay.

Yeap, go to toysinyourcar for the Intravee.

Also, has the KCA unit got BOTH cables?

Good to know. I just got my KCA with all the leads. Looking forward to listening to my tracks on the iPhone compared to a crap Alpine CD player getting stuck!!!

I had 2 Intravee's but sold the spare on eBay recently, I couldn't believe the price is went for! I only paid £90 for the Intravee & Alpine Unit off the Z4 forum a few years ago, it sold on ebay for over £280!

I have another currently fitted in my 320CD, I'm planning to remove it and fit it in my X5 (when I get one) and until now I have been discounting cars without NAV just for this reason. But looking on eBay you can buy one of those 'all singing all dancing' headunits that have DVD/TV/BT/NAV etc etc for not much more than the cost of an Intravee.

If I end up buying an X5 without NAV, i'll give you a shout and you can buy my Intravee, and i'll buy this :) :

That's the hualingan unit - wait for the Dynavin unit I've been going on about... (if you end up going that way).

OR wait for Raj to finish his setup, you might fancy that instead!

Yeah i'm quite familiar with both the Dynavin and the Hualingan units. They are both available for the e46 and quite a few over on the e46zone already have them.

The Dynavin appears slightly better quality but no DVD player IIRC? What setup is Raj going for btw?

Definitely the E46 one is. No idea if it has the DVD or not...

I am just speculating here - double DIN unit with custom AMP(s), etc. He has a separate thread going, keep watching...
