Webasto heater not working

They aren't difficult to fix, is usually the glow plug that fails. Do you hear the fuel pump ticking when it's running?

There is no clicking noise, only a loud humming noise sounds to me like the fan.

Do you know where the glow plug is located ?

I can't see a diagnostic helping as the unit is either on or off and the Programme that tells it to turn on is working.

Find the long aux heating thread (24+ pages) there is a repair manual near the end of it that I've posted that might be useful to you

Yes I know the 24+ page thread, but where is post 327, it can't be your personal postings number as you have made nowhere near this number.

Are you using a different version of the Forum :? I am using Firefox, it is not showing any post numbers :?
I only can see posts that each member has made :? :scratchhead:

I don't see where the glow plug is :? Does anyone here know, has anyone here replaced one ?

I don't know if the fuell pump is working, there is only one small pipe that leads into the chassis and has no little pump as shown in the PDF's.

Has anyone here actually worked on one of these units ? I am definitely feeling around in the dark and could do with some help :(

The glow plug slots into a socket at the top end of the burner assembley and is held in place by a metal key. To access the burner assembly, disconnect the air and fuel lines then remove the four screws that secure the fan motor housing then slide the housing off over the fuel line spigot - you can now remove the key and 'wiggle' out the glow plug.

The webasto fuel pump is located under the car adjacent to the main fuel pump and fuel filter - in the void in front of the fuel tank - need to remove the rear-most underbody plastic shield to access the void.
