Ouch and bugger!

Post by sapphireblack » Thu Nov 24, 2011 11:03 am

Scenario: a tight underground car park, a dwarf wall, obviously unsighted, and PDC's that didn't warn  . Result

Even with PDC it can happen, ask Mrs PVR :)

So then.......sapphireblack & Mrs pvr have had reversing incidents of late.

Sorry to hear of these frustrating occurences.

Perhaps now might be a good time as any to share that last night & on my own driveway I reversed the X5 into the front of the Z3

Double Whammy ! :headbang:

I like to think that on a good day I do okay going forwards....I just seem to lose concentration at time when reversing. :x

Sorry to see this happening - and yeah I bet the air went blue for a few moments!! Too easy to do even with PDC (and even with cameras too by the way) and the rear one isn't particularly er...loud either. It's a bit more of a 'scuse me but....' rather than an 'Oi!! You!!'

Every 2 years until last time hopefully Mrs pvr has broken the cycle now :)

It's always a begged when things jump out and attack your prized possession ! However, on a different note, I love the colour of your alloys, could you possibly divulge the colour or paint code please............ Pretty please :)

I'm not aware of a colour code reference, however, they were refurbished by Lepsons in Gillingham, Kent, who said it was: McLarens SLR wheel colour. All i know is, it was a premium of £20 per wheel colour at £80 a pop. They are nice though and almost exactly brake pad dust colour ;)

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Is it just the bumper or has the rear panel or wing been damaged too.

Hope you get it fixed quickly and done well.

Thankfully only the bumper and carrier, which is the only good part of this.

A BMW repair is now scheduled for next week
