A Few Pics of My Weekend in Ireland

Post by Chompers » Tue Aug 24, 2010 2:14 pm

Popped over to Ireland for a friend of the OH's 40th birthday which was based at the Delphi Mountain Resort http://www.delphimountainresort.com/ a weekend full of activities including Zip wire, Mountain Biking and Hill walking to name a few all punctuated by several pints of the Black Stuff :drinking: :D

Looking out to the Atlantic from the Summit of Tonatleva (379m)

Nothing like the hill walking there. Spent 4 years on projects in Ireland, not sure if I ever managed a dry walk though :)

Looks great though. I assume the support vehicle was just behind you then :poke:

Cheers x555, it was indeed a great place, the hotel is in need of a facelift in places which was due to start last year however with the economic climate as it is in Ireland thoose plans are on hold for the moment which is a shame.

The chances of staying dry on the west coast are very slim, infact the wettest recorded place in Ireland is only a few miles away. As for your last coment, it was all my own doing you cheeky bar steward :violent1:

Looks like you are racking up the challenges, 535dboy at Brands Hatch and I'll gladly take you on on any hill :fuelfire:

Rubbish equipment karting

Chompers you know that the plastic British car will be far and away quicker than the hairdressers car around BH

I think even me in the OH's 123d would be quicker around BH than PVR with all that air in his hair, however like karting he would still claim he was first what ever the outcome :P
