I disabled my fronts also. The reason- one of the front sensors was faulty meaning no sensors worked front or back. Because I never need front sensors and their so awkward to replace, by disabling them completey, the backs work as normal again. So no more haywire sounds every time I select reverse.

Does make me laugh, because BMW only fitted the audible system, one sensor out = all sensors out. However, if you have an Intravee it gives you a graphical display for each individual sensor, why BMW didn't enable that themselves is a mystery to me.

Graphical display with a bar and numerical display and indicator of the closest sensor on the High cluster or numeric display for each sensor on the Nav screen.

You need the KCA-420i with BOTH cables and the Intravee.
What do you get:
1. Unlock
2. Mirrors folding on key/key out of barrel (OEM mirrors must be fitted)
3. PDC display on OBD
4. iPod song display on OBD
And a whole host of other features to do with the car, let alone the superior iPod interface...
